Space Adventure Cobra (1982)

Super-stylised space-opera anime that's as far removed from the traditional style of the era than Barbarella is from Blade Runner. It’s almost non-stop action from beginning to end, but still manages to squeeze in some exciting plot when you're least expecting it.
The American version dubs a new soundtrack by the Swiss electronic duo Yello, but everywhere else retains the original. I've seen both. The original suits the visuals better.
